Chloe Borowska (Bray) has been appointed to a permanent lectureship in the Department of Classics at Otago. Chloe completed her PhD at St Andrews in 2020 (entitled ‘Interrogating liminality: threatening landscapes in fifth-century Greek tragedy’). At Otago she will be teaching Greek myth, language and literature, and continuing her research on human interactions with the environment in Ancient Greek narrative poetry. Her publications include ‘Time and Human Fragility in the Landscape Similes of the Iliad’, recently published in Classical Quarterly 70.2, 2022.
We wish Chloe all the best in this next step, and we look forward to hearing more from her!
