The School of Classics invites applications for an associate lecturer in Classics (education focused).
The successful candidate will have particular expertise in areas of modern reception of antiquity (e.g. medicine, science, political thought, popular culture) which will extend our existing strengths; they will deliver high-quality teaching on our Undergraduate and Taught Masters programmes, possibly to include an Honours module of their own devising. They will play a leading role in the development of the School’s teaching provision in the reception of antiquity, and contribute to the design and delivery of the Classics Summer School, to run in July 2023.
The post is fixed term for 18 months from 1 September 2022, with a closing date of 22 April 2022.
