Carnegie grant for Rebecca Sweetman

medium (1)Congratulations to Rebecca Sweetman, who has been awarded a Carnegie Research Incentive Grant for a project entitled: The Late Antique Cyclades: Landscapes, Networks and Christianization. The aim of the project is to study the location of the late Antique churches in order to understand processes of Christianization in the Cyclades, particularly in terms of network connections within the islands and as part of communication links in the Mediterranean. The inital fieldwork for the project took place in July with the assistance of two Laidlaw Interns, Alice Devlin and Nefeli Piree Iliou
