Emma Buckley wins Teaching Excellence Award

medium (3)Congratulations to Emma Buckley, who has just been awarded one of the university’s five Teaching Excellence Awards for 2014-15. The awards will be presented at a teaching awards ceremony on Wednesday 29 April. The award is for all-round excellent teaching, but also particularly a) for Emma’s innovative classical reception modules at honours level, and b) for the work she has done (jointly with Alice König) on a project tracking the experience of students from different educational systems in language learning within our Latin modules; and for setting up (jointly with Nikoletta Manioti) a new postgraduate language teaching training scheme.
