Greg in the Guardian

Professor Greg Woolf has contributed to a major article in The Guardian newspaper which discusses the extent to which the ancient Greek world can be considered ‘muticultural’.  Greg argues that while the ancient Greeks and Romans sometimes deliberately introduced ‘hybrid’ elements of religion and culture, we should be wary of taking the notion of a happy ancient multiculturalism too far.  View the full article.
